8. Adam Lallana (Liverpool)

The midfielder has returned from an injury-hit spell to make several contributions, notably scoring the late equaliser against Manchester United in October which extended Liverpool’s then unbeaten league run.

It looks likely that Lallana will move on when his contract expires, but a Premier League title would be a great parting gift for the former Southampton playmaker.

His absence, should he leave before the 2019/20 Premier League season is finished, won’t be huge on the pitch but he remains a key figure off it.
