JUST IN:Manchester United set to sign this striker for £15m this summer after successful loan spell

By TalkSport
His dream move to Manchester United is set to become a permanent one this summer.
The Daily Mail claim there is already a willingness to get a deal for Ighalo over the line, with his loan spell set to end a month earlier than most usually do.
United will therefore have to negotiate an extension with Ighalo’s parent club, Shanghai Shenhua, with the Premier League season currently on hold owing to the corona virus pandemic
Either way, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to add Ighalo to his ranks on a permanent basis after the former Watford striker scored four goals in his first eight matches for the club.
The Chinese Super League outfit have put a £15m valuation on the player, who turns 31 in June. The Red Devils were not required to pay a loan fee for Ighalo in January, because they agreed to contribute close to 45 per cent of his gigantic £300,000-a-week pay package.
Ighalo was initially viewed as a stop-gap signing after United failed with a bid to bring back their former academy starlet, Joshua King, from Bournemouth on deadline day.
He has, however, surpassed expectations thus far with Solskjaer already hinting that United were interested in making the move permanent following United’s win against LASK earlier this month.
“He will improve and get better,” the United boss remarked. “He has qualities we saw in him that we needed. And we will still need those qualities next season — so let’s see what we will do.”

#CORONAVIRUS; Former Chelsea Midfielder Loses his Job in Turkey over Corona Virus Post
Nigerian and former Chelsea player, John Obi Mikel has had his Trabzonspor contract terminated through mutual consent, the club has confirmed.

This is after Mikel went on social media and publicly criticized the decision for Super Lig games to go ahead over the weekend amid the coronavirus outbreak.
The 32-year-old posted a message on Instagram that he does not feel comfortable playing in the current climate.
He will not be paid compensation and has agreed to give up all forward-looking rights and receivables.
The midfielder’s contract would have run until 2021 had he stayed on at Trabzonspor.
Trabzonspor did not respond to the statement but Mikel did not feature in the league game against Basaksehir on Sunday and is expected to return to England with his family.
Mikel won every domestic title, the Champions League and Europa League at the Blues.
Manchester United to make ‘significant’ effort to sign Barcelona in summer transfer window
By TalkSports' Jake Bacon
Manchester United are planning to make a ‘significant’ effort to sign Barcelona defender and French international Samuel Umtiti this summer.

Umtiti has struggled with knee injuries for almost two years, and finds himself behind Gerard Pique and Clement Lenglet in the pecking order at the Nou Camp.
Spanish outlet Sport say Barcelona need to raise £118million in player sales in the summer transfer window.
And the LaLiga giants believe they can get a hefty fee for Umtiti, whose contract runs until 2023
.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks set to be handed a big summer budget as he continues his rebuild at Old Trafford.
And Umtiti could be an ideal partner for United captain Harry Maguire, who has impressed since joining the Red Devils from Leicester last summer.
Meanwhile,Arsenal have been long-term admirers of Umtiti.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is likely to strengthen his backline before the start of next season with David Luiz, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Shkodran Mustafi failing to show consistency.
A potential big-money sale of Umtiti could see Barcelona bring in new recruits over the summer.
It is understood the Catalans could not afford to re-sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain last year after previously splashing a combined total of £238million on Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho.
Both players have struggled for form in Spain with Dembele sidelined due to a long-term hamstring injury and Coutinho out on loan at Bayern Munich.
10. Shane Long (Southampton)

The Republic of Ireland international is out of contract this summer at Saints, with manager Ralph Hasenhuttl yet to decide where his future lies.
While the 33-year-old has never been prolific in front of goal, his workrate and desire is something that never can be questioned – making him a useful asset to his club.
He’s partnered Danny Ings plenty across the campaign but the emergence of Michael Obafemi and the club’s current league position means he wouldn’t be missed a huge amount.
9. Matty Longstaff (Newcastle)

The teenager has enjoyed a breakthrough season at St James Park, occasionally linking up with older brother Sean in the Magpies’ midfield.
The 19-year-old has scored in both of his side’s two meetings with Manchester United this term – including on his Premier League debut – as well as the FA Cup win over Rochdale.
Manager Steve Bruce recently said of contract talks: “I’m sure there are people in his ear, so of course the situation is a concern.
“But he knows what I think of him and I keep reminding him how many other 19-year-olds have played in the Premier League this year.
“I speak to him regularly and will continue to do so. He knows how much the club wants him to stay.”

8. Adam Lallana (Liverpool)

The midfielder has returned from an injury-hit spell to make several contributions, notably scoring the late equaliser against Manchester United in October which extended Liverpool’s then unbeaten league run.
It looks likely that Lallana will move on when his contract expires, but a Premier League title would be a great parting gift for the former Southampton playmaker.
His absence, should he leave before the 2019/20 Premier League season is finished, won’t be huge on the pitch but he remains a key figure off it.

7. Willian (Chelsea)

There have been question marks over the Brazilian’s consistency during his six-year spell at Stamford Bridge to date, but his quality is unquestionable.
Talks over a contract have stalled, with Willian holding out for a new three-year deal – with Chelsea only prepared to offer him a two-year one to date.
Frank Lampard has a relatively youthful squad and Willian will not be short of offers, so they have to decide whether or not to bite the bullet in respective of keeping him at the club.
If he leaves before the season is concluded, though, it could be a big blow to Lampard.
