Walker, it is claimed, invited escort Louise McNamara, 21, and a 24-year-old ­Brazilian call girl to his £8,000-a-month rented apartment in Hale, Cheshire and he was joined by a pal.

The footballer attempted to hide his identity by claiming his name was "Kai" but Ms McNamara, who took snaps of Walker, later discovered who he was.

                   It is claimed the two escorts arrived at around 10.30pm on Tuesday, the night before Walker issued his plea to fans regarding the Government's advice to stay home and listen to social distancing rules.

                   He had told fans:

         “Stay indoors, keep washing your hands, keep following the protocols and just protect the NHS.

              “It’s been tough, but first and foremost, we have to think about other people’s health and protecting the elderly and family members that can spread it.”

            Ms McNamara, who along with the second escort was paid £2,200 in cash before the party moved on into the bedroom, has since slammed the footballer.

             She told The Sun: “Kyle really should know better. On the one hand he’s inviting strangers round to his house for sex, and the next day he’s lecturing everyone on the need to stay safe.

           “He’s a hypocrite and putting people at risk.”

       Walker now finds himself in hot water with City manager Pep Guardiola, while his actions are also expected to anger England boss Gareth Southgate.

                 He issued an apology on Saturday night and said:

             “I want to take this opportunity to issue a public apology for the choices I made last week.

     “I understand that my ­position as a professional footballer brings the responsibility of being a role model.

          “There are heroes out there making a vital difference to society at the moment, and I have been keen to help support and highlight their amazing sacrifices and life-saving work over the past week. My actions are in direct contrast to what I should have been doing regarding the lockdown.”

      

        City released their own statement and added:

              “We are disappointed to hear the allegations, note Kyle’s swift statement and apology, and will be conducting an internal disciplinary procedure in the coming days.”

         United will therefore have to negotiate an extension with Ighalo’s parent club, Shanghai Shenhua, with the Premier League season currently on hold owing to the corona virus pandemic
        Either way, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to add Ighalo to his ranks on a permanent basis after the former Watford striker scored four goals in his first eight matches for the club.  

        The Chinese Super League outfit have put a £15m valuation on the player, who turns 31 in June.The Red Devils were not required to pay a loan fee for Ighalo in January, because they agreed to contribute close to 45 per cent of his gigantic £300,000-a-week pay package.

#CORONAVIRUS; Former Chelsea Midfielder Loses his Job in Turkey over Corona Virus Post

Nigerian and former Chelsea player, John Obi Mikel has had his Trabzonspor contract terminated through mutual consent, the club has confirmed.

This is after Mikel went on social media and publicly criticized the decision for Super Lig games to go ahead over the weekend amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The 32-year-old posted a message on Instagram that he does not feel comfortable playing in the current climate.

He will not be paid compensation and has agreed to give up all forward-looking rights and receivables.

The midfielder’s contract would have run until 2021 had he stayed on at Trabzonspor.

Trabzonspor did not respond to the statement but Mikel did not feature in the league game against Basaksehir on Sunday and is expected to return to England with his family.

Manchester United to make ‘significant’ effort to sign Barcelona in summer transfer window

Manchester United are planning to make a ‘significant’ effort to sign Barcelona defender and French international Samuel Umtiti this summer.

Umtiti has struggled with knee injuries for almost two years, and finds himself behind Gerard Pique and Clement Lenglet in the pecking order at the Nou Camp.

Spanish outlet Sport say Barcelona need to raise £118million in player sales in the summer transfer window.

And the LaLiga giants believe they can get a hefty fee for Umtiti, whose contract runs until 2023

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks set to be handed a big summer budget as he continues his rebuild at Old Trafford.

And Umtiti could be an ideal partner for United captain Harry Maguire, who has impressed since joining the Red Devils from Leicester last summer.

Meanwhile,Arsenal have been long-term admirers of Umtiti.
